Ewa Ciepielewska
born 1st October 1960 in Wałbrzych.
She studied at PWSSP (Academy of Art and Design) in Wrocław; in 1984 she received a diploma in painting (Prof. Konrad Jarodzki’s workshop). She cooperated with the LUXUS group from its beginning (1982): several collective exhibitions and designs; coauthor of LUXUS Magazine and LUXUS publications.
From 1997 she was a coauthor of international project “VOLANS-Contemporary Art in 1000 Pieces”, supporting Polish contemporary art. She participated in collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad, individual exhibitions, plein air events, happenings engagé, murals.
She cooperated with environmental organizations and young offenders’ homes. She studied colour and art therapy at Stichting Emerald in The Hague. Between 2008 -11 she cruised on a wooden boat down the Vistula River from Cracow to Gdańsk, as a realization of “Floating Festival of Arts” project, which she was a co-author of Two-month happening called “Lady with an Ermine’s Travel” – a cruise down the Vistula River, April-June 2011.
Her works can be found in private collections and in national collections (as the LUXUS group member).
The exhibition will last till 30th of April 2012.
